Title of the special session: Dynamic Adaptive Systems Design and Applications in Advance Signal, Image and Speech Analysis
Description of the special session:
Adaptive systems find their application in various research areas in present time including signal, Image, video processing, communication and computing. They can be employed for system identification, low complexity dynamic designs, channel equalization and modeling etc. In this session of the esteemed ECTI-CON 2015 the chair wants to offer a dazzling research multicultural gathering to have multidimensional presentations and collaborations between current day advances and trends in the field of adaptive filter applications.
The main objectives of the special session are as follows:
- Discussion on a research platform to improve the quality and intelligibility innovative adaptive systems and their applications in signal, image, video, speech processing and coding.
- To take the research forward in the existing noise minimization system and echo cancellation system and to identify key issues that needs to be addressed in real-world implementation of these systems.
- To have technical discussion on real-time implementation of adaptive filters and designs on DSP Processors.
- Techniques for image and speech enhancement using innovative algorithms.
- SVM and its applications for algorithm design for classification and recognition in sppech and image processing.
- Sensory signal processing and under water communication using advanced process control signaling technology.
- To study the existing adaptive algorithms for implementation of mobile computing, communication system designs, AI application and soft computing issues.
- Adaptive Filtering algorithms and low complexity system design.

Title of the special session: Earth observation systems for Sustainable Development
Description of the special session:
The problem of climate change is a major environmental crisis causing broad and severe damages to the mankind.
Continuous monitoring and analytics the natural environment by using data from various platforms (e.g. satellite, UAV, terrain images) are needed.
Based on recent technologies, it is capable of monitoring and tracking for the climate change.
Thus, an enormous amount of data from multiple platforms is already available.
The data can effectively be used in several applications such as natural resource analysis,
disaster management (e.g., flood, drought, and fire), agricultural monitoring (crop phenology), and urban expansion.
